1. History

Webtech I.T. Solutions Pty Ltd (ACN 090 548 977) was incorporated in November 1999. Prior to this the business was trading as HouseCall (BN U9034242) , with commencement of trading in July 1998. The primary services offered by the company at commencement were I.T. solutions for large companies/entities. In particular, Webtech I.T. Solutions has designed, built and commissioned various major portals including www.jobsjobsjobs.com.au and www.realestateview.com.au, for a national recruitment franchise and for the Victorian real estate industry, respectively. In 2001 and onwards, the company expanded to provide the whole range of I.T. solutions including software solutions, web hosting, domain name registration and ISP services.

The founder and managing director is Dr. David Webster, who brings an outstanding technology background to the company from his previous employment as Director of the BE Program in Electrical Engineering at the University of Technology, Sydney.

At its peak periods, the realestateview server delivers 100+ files per second . In its first year of operation our staff resolved over 10,000 emails and over 4,000 hotline support phone calls.
